Electrical - Sales and Marketing Manager
Job Summary
The Sales & Marketing Manager will oversee the sales, marketing, and business development activities for the electrical and mechanical (electromechanical) products and services sector. The individual will be responsible for creating strategies that drive revenue growth, expand market share, and promote the company’s product offerings. This role requires a blend of technical knowledge and business acumen, with a focus on understanding customer needs, promoting relevant solutions, and closing sales.
Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Management
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
- Identify new business opportunities and emerging markets in the electrical mechanical sector.
- Manage the sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and partners.
- Collaborate with the technical team to understand product specifications and customer requirements.
- Lead the negotiation process, ensuring profitability and contract compliance.
Marketing Strategy
- Design and execute marketing campaigns to promote products and services.
- Collaborate with the product development team to create marketing materials, technical documentation, and product catalogs.
- Lead digital marketing initiatives, including website management, social media, email marketing, and SEO.
- Conduct market research to understand industry trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities.
- Develop pricing strategies based on market analysis and competitor benchmarking.
Customer Relationship Management
- Implement CRM strategies to manage leads, follow-ups, and customer engagement.
- Address customer feedback, inquiries, and complaints to improve service and product offerings.
- Organize customer training, workshops, and seminars to enhance product knowledge and loyalty.
Team Leadership
- Manage, mentor, and train the sales and marketing teams.
- Set performance goals and ensure team members are achieving objectives.
- Foster a collaborative and motivated team environment.
Reporting & Analysis
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and present regular reports to senior management.
- Analyze sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback to adjust strategies.
- Monitor and optimize marketing ROI by analyzing campaign effectiveness.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related field).
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably in the electrical and mechanical industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical and mechanical products, systems, and solutions.
- Proven track record in sales management and business development.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently and lead a team.
- Proficient in CRM software and marketing tools.
