Sales Executive
Job Purpose
To maximize Prime Sales through field contact with the customers, thereby increasing the market share for the company
Principal Accountabilities
- Achieve targeted requirements for the Prime Sales to allocated customers. Handle them successfully and independently.
- Ensure full knowledge of customer’s requirements, projects, and overall business standings.
- Regularly visit customer projects/offices to generate incremental business.
- Continually generate new prospects to improve the company’s share of the market.
- Promote value-added products and Product Link, etc.
- Customers to be called on a predetermined call frequency based on ownership, size, and type of business. Average call rate per day not to be less than 5, and total coverage for the month is not less than 95% of predetermined calls.
- Make daily Call Reports giving full details of calls made, including competitive information and prospective sales leads.
- At the beginning of each week, prepare and submit to the Sales Manager a list of customers to be visited during that week. Keep an up-to-date record of each customer and their activities.
- Liaise with relevant departments to ensure smooth processing of customer requests for Prime Sales.
- Enhance business relationships within the customer’s organization at all levels.
- Carry out any other tasks as assigned by the company from time to time.
- Assist the Sales Manager in setting the objectives for the Department.
- Assist the Sales Manager in achieving the objectives through an Action Plan and achieve budgeted sales targets.
Knowledge & Experience
- Recognized educational qualification, preferably to Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Business Studies or Marketing.
- Customer requirements, territories, project and competitors’ strengths and weaknesses.
- Minimum 3-5 years working as a Salesman with a major Dealer/Importer of Generators or equipment
Skills
- Technical Skills: Product Knowledge, Machines, Generators visual inspection, and computers skills.
- Language Skills: Excellent bilingual communication skills
