Freelancer Channel Head
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in sales leadership roles, preferably within the smartphone or device finance companies like Sunking and D.light.
- Proven experience managing large teams and driving sales performance in a decentralized setup.
- Familiarity with the local market, particularly in sales and distribution dynamics.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for the freelancer channel to maximize smartphone sales across targeted zones.
- Identify and prioritize market opportunities for walk-out sales based on demand, competition, and product relevance.
- Collaborate with the CEO /National Sales Head to align freelancer sales initiatives with the company’s overall sales strategy.
Team Management
- Lead and manage a team of 5 Regional Managers, ensuring effective execution of sales plans within their respective zones.
- Set clear KPIs and performance metrics for Regional Managers and freelance agents, monitoring progress through regular reviews.
- Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to Regional Managers to build a high-performing sales team.
Freelancer Network Development
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and training of freelance sales agents in coordination with Regional Managers.
- Foster a productive and motivated freelance workforce through consistent communication, rewards programs, and performance incentives.
- Ensure freelancers are equipped with the necessary sales tools, product knowledge, and customer engagement techniques.
Sales & Performance Management
- Drive sales performance across zones, ensuring monthly, quarterly, and annual targets are met.
- Analyse sales data to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities, using insights to refine strategies.
- Monitor and optimize the effectiveness of walk-out sales campaigns to achieve maximum ROI.
- Manage budgets and resource allocation for freelancer channel activities
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with the marketing team to align product promotions, pricing strategies, and campaigns.
- Coordinate with store and logistics teams to ensure product availability and timely delivery to freelancers.
