Physics Teacher - Mtwara

Key Responsibilities

The Physics Teacher will be expected to:

  • Deliver engaging and effective Physics lessons at the Advanced Level (A-Level)
  • Apply the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC) using a student-centered teaching approach
  • Participate in school co-curricular activities and events
  • Prepare, assess, and analyze student performance in accordance with NECTA standards
  • Fulfill additional duties assigned by the School Manager, Administrator, Head of School, Second Master, or Academic Master
  • Attend school meetings, seminars, workshops, and other professional engagement

Professional Experience

  • Minimum of three (3) years teaching Advanced Level Physics
  • Proven record of producing NECTA results with a GPA between 2.0 – 2.9

Academic Qualifications

  • The candidate must hold one of the following degrees from a recognized university in Tanzania
  • Bachelor of Education with Physics and Mathematics as teaching subjects, or Bachelor’s degree in Pure Physics

  • Gender: Male
  • Age: 30 years and above
  • Place of Origin (Preferred): Mbeya, Iringa, or Njombe regions
  • Religious Background: God-fearing, with a strong Catholic foundation
  • Excellent command of the English language, both spoken and written
  • Strong mastery of Physics content and ability to guide students through academic success
