Outsourcing HR Supervisor (2) - Ngerengere, Morogoro
Job Summary
We are looking for a hands-on and experienced Outsourcing HR Supervisor to support sugarcane operations in Ngerengere. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day HR activities, coordinating staff mobilization, supporting payroll preparation, managing work schedules, and ensuring timely availability of manpower for field operations.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a remote and demanding environment, have strong knowledge of HSE requirements, and be able to quickly respond to staffing needs, including replacement of absent or departing employees.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage and coordinate day-to-day HR activities for sugarcane field operations.
• Plan and coordinate staff recruitment, mobilization and deployment based on operational requirements.
• Maintain an updated pool of qualified and readily available workers to facilitate quick staff replacement.
• Coordinate the quick replacement of staff in cases of absenteeism, resignation, termination or increased manpower requirements.
• Prepare and maintain work schedules, staff rosters and manpower plans in coordination with operational supervisors.
• Support the preparation and processing of monthly payroll, including attendance, overtime, deductions and other payroll inputs.
• Maintain accurate employee records, attendance registers and personnel documentation.
• Prepare regular HR, manpower, attendance and operational reports for management.
• Ensure employees understand and comply with company policies, procedures and workplace requirements.
• Promote and monitor compliance with Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) requirements across field operations.
• Coordinate with HSE personnel to support employee safety, toolbox meetings, safety inductions and incident reporting.
• Handle employee relations, grievances, disciplinary matters and welfare issues
Qualifications & Experience
• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in agriculture, plantation, construction, logistics or other labour-intensive operations.
• Experience in sugarcane, agricultural or field-based operations will be an added advantage.
• Practical knowledge of payroll preparation and payroll inputs.
• Good understanding of HSE requirements and workplace safety practices.
• Proven experience in staff recruitment, mobilization and workforce coordination.
• Ability to maintain and manage a ready pool of workers for quick replacement.
• Strong client handling and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and tight deadlines.
• Willingness and ability to work in Ngerengere and remote/field-based locations.
